Peter Sejna, the first European-born player to win the Hobey Baker award, has left the St. Louis Blues to play…drop-in hockey at a Colorado YMCA. He was spotted skating around me easily. I spotted him doing this often. Sejna, a speedy, Paul Kariya-like forward was told by the Blues that they already had a speedy, Paul Kariya-like winger who happened to be the speedy Paul Kariya. So Sejna left the team to pursue a career in Europe later this season. Until then, he’s training in Colorado and making me look very, very stupid out there.
